Voodoo Ray’s fits perfectly with the late-night Dalston party vibes – a Brooklyn-styled pizza place that trumps any of the Turkish takeaways for midnight munchies.
American craft beers by the can are in keeping with the Brooklyn theme, but it’s the Frozen Margaritas that go down best, with plenty of bite from Sauza Hornitos tequila. Pizza by the slice is the order of the day (or night), American-sized slices, with stone-baked bases and inventive toppings. The line-up includes the Full Moon, a post-midnight addition that incorporating Mayonnaise and ‘bacon dust’ – yes, that’s a thing now.
During the day, Voodoo Ray’s is a relaxed hipster hangout, but by night its bold neon sign lures in punters for more than a pit stop – post-club fun.
Best Bars tip: To keep kids going until closing time at 3am, Voodoo Ray’s is known to whip up addictive frozen Espresso Martinis from its slushie machine.
