Cocobananas

Cocobananas

Surfing on the World Cup-induced Brazilian frenzy (quite literally – the menus are written on surfboards), Cocobananas brings the beach party to London like never before.

The booze is full of tropical flavours, with cachaça flowing throughout. Start the night with a Caipirinha, the sweet and refreshing star drink, before moving on to one of the signature cocktails. You get to drink the BumBum out of a bum-shaped mug – making this Mount Gay Rum, passionfruit, elderflower, lime and apple number even more worthwhile. Getting hungry? Good. The nibbles are authentic Brazilian street food – we love the bolinho de bacalhau, small crispy cod fritters you won’t stop dipping into the spicy tomato sauce.

Get your mates together – at Cocobananas the cocktails are made for sharing and the space for dancing. With a colourful room filled with the sounds of Rio and beach balls to pass around, you’ll leave feeling like you’ve just hopped off a flight from Brazil.

Best Bars tip: Keep an eye out for special events: Cocobananas is usually only open on Friday and Saturday nights but will be throwing beach parties and the like.
