London Fields Brewery: a taproom to the famous east London brewing company sits under the railway arches and acts as a trendy hangout for beer aficionados.
Hackney Hopster pale ale, the distinctive Love Not War red ale and Shoreditch Triangle IPA – all the favourites are available on keg and cask, and we doubt they’ll taste fresher anywhere else in town. Food pop-ups come and go, with beer and food matching always on the agenda.
Decked out in timber, the bar itself has the exact aesthetic you’d expect from the area, and the clientele fit the bill in beanie hats and cropped denim. Over the road, you’ll find the brewery’s capacious warehouse space, ideal for summer parties thanks to a unique BBQ deck.
Best Bars tip: Take a look out the window on your way to the bathroom – you’ll be afforded a view to where the brewing magic happens. Alternatively, book yourself in for a weekend brewery tour.
