This bright and airy all-day, eat-and-drinkery ain’t your traditional boozer: at No 11 Pimlico Road expect an upscale yet eclectic approach with refined food, twists on classic cocktails and interiors that you’ll want in your own home.
The horseshoe-shaped bar is where the boozy magic happens – and if you like your spirits big and punchy, then go for the signature Martini No. 11. It’s a secret blend of 11 ingredients and comes straight up with a side of olives (we love any drink that comes with a nibble). For an afternoon tea experience that’s a bit higher on the abv, try the Camomile Sour – a Camomile-infused Pisco drink that’s light and fresh, and served with a flavoured foam so be sure to ditch that straw and tuck right in. The food is a huge draw here as well, from the hearty Sunday roasts to the sharing crostini platters – think white bean and truffle oil, prosciutto and remoulade, smoked salmon with dill and horseradish crème fraiche.
You can expect the post-work crowds to pile in, but this place is steady day-to-night: from lunching ladies to pre-club partiers on the weekend, there’s something to satisfy everyone’s needs.
Best Bars tip: Woke up rather late and achy on a Sunday? Don’t worry, the team here is dishing out brunch all day with knockout items like blueberry pancakes or a poached egg and sweet potato hash – we can’t resist its smoked bacon and hollandaise accompaniment.
