The Lord Clifden

Lord Clifden Birmingham insideQuite rightly in both the CAMRA Good Beer Guide and the Good Pub Guide, The Lord Clifden is a recipient of not one, but three Observer Food Monthly awards. Known for its collection of urban street art, with the likes of Banksy, D*Face, Obey, Faile and Army Lion on its walls, the pub and beer garden feels full of life and energy.

With seven continental lagers on tap, as well as being one of only two pubs in Birmingham to supply “Budvar Yeast”, the Lord Clifden is truly hops-head heaven. Food-wise, pub classics are made to a very high standard so any order is a strong order.

The outdoors ping-pong table helps attract the younger crowd, while skilled DJs regularly grace the alfresco decks.

Best Bars tip: Summer’s major sporting events are projected on the giant outdoor screen. Just note, the kids can only come along between 12-3pm.
