London Cocktail Week

Get it in the diary folks, London Cocktail Week is coming … and it’s going to be bigger and boozier than ever. From the 6th-12th of October, be prepared for all things spiritous as over 200 bars across London will be slinging £4 special cocktails as part of the event (as long as you’ve got your wristband). So whether you’re east, west, north or south — you’ll be able to get stuck straight into the libatious goodness.

You can start your crawl with elegant bubbles at Kettner’s Champagne and Cocktail Bar, then treat yourself to Michelin-starred nibbles and inventive cocktails at Oskar’s Bar at Dabbous. Then let’s bust out the party hats and head to mezcal-heavy hot spot 184 Hackney Road or join our fun and flashback-loving friends at Earlham Street Clubhouse.

But it’s more than just cheap and awesome drinks, there will be events galore. From tastings to masterclasses, parties to pop-ups, there’s enough to keep your brain informed and your whistle wet. Feel like a cruise? Hop on to a Vestal Voyage, the world’s first floating distillery (for reals). If you need more food with your booze, go to Trailer Happiness for a rum club food pairing with El Dorado. And for those of you who work in the hospitality/drinks industry, be sure to nip by The Bartenders’ Centre: a theatre space offering back-to-back seminars that’ll teach you all of the things you need to know (or want to know, either way). Tickets for these chats will cost £10 with all proceeds going to The Bartenders’ Best Scholarship Trust.

Best Bars tip: For all of the best boozy bits, follow along with us on Twitter LIVE during the whole week. We know we can’t do it all, but we’ll damn well try.
