London Cocktail Club Shoreditch

LCC Shoreditch interiorLondon Cocktail Club has headed due east and opened doors in the bar-hopping haven that is Shoreditch. And this time round, you can expect all of this party bar’s staples: good-time vibes, graffiti-covered walls, kooky cocktails and bangin’ tunes — but now there’s an added biker edge.

The bar’s got a wide selection of American whiskeys so for some big, smoky, whiskey goodness — it’s got to be the Smoking Barrel. And if you want your dreams fulfilled, their list won’t disappoint. Want an indulgent Movie Night? Well this one’s got Bacardi 8 yr old rum, Disaronno, chocolate sauce and milk that’s served in your very own popcorn bag. Want one that’s not for the tame? Order the Heisenberg. Yes, that Heisenberg. It’s a twist on the Tommy’s Margarita with Ocho Blanco tequila, “blue” falernum, lime and agave — served with a side of blue salt in a baggie. Note: not drugs, just salt. And if you think you’re getting lucky tonight, order the Love Potion No 9 with Bombay Sapphire gin, Spanish dessert wine, pineapple and lemon — served with a garnish of Durex. They’ve got you “covered”.

Open until 1am on the weekends, this is a safe bet for drinking quality cocktails late into the night (without any of the formalities of a sit-down bar). Throw on your best leather jacket, hop on your Harley, and ride over to throw down — Hell’s Angels style.

Best Bars tip: On the ground floor don’t miss the Workshop. Designed for masterclasses as well as for those in the drinks industry who need some space to do their boozy work, it’ll give you an educational edge to your evenings.
