Italian-styled cocktail spot Bar Termini is bringing glamour back to train station drinking. The design is pared back with nods to railways (like the overhead shelving) and the dark nighttime setting makes it rather intimate indeed.
Cocktails are premixed in Tony C’s lab, so you can expect precision, consistency and most importantly, perfection. One of our favourite 69 Colebrooke Row drinks has made it over to this site: the simple-looking yet complex-tasting Terroir. If you are in a group, we recommend ordering all of the Negronis (at £6.50 a pop) and sample the tasty variations on this bitter sipper. Cheese and cured meats are available for the peckish.
Don’t be surprised that when you step back out into the beating, buzzy Soho street — you’ll feel like you’ve just come off the Eurostar. But you’ll feel refreshed, relaxed and a bit more laid back than when you walked in.
Best Bars tip: This place is open all day long and is dishing out some seriously beautiful coffees and pastries. So if you’re in Soho and want a place to kick back, do some work, catch up with friends, or whatever — this is your spot.
